Cookie Policy

Version 2 — effective from 31/08/2026

1. Who we are

This Cookie Policy applies to the Kuno website (kuno-ai.com), the learner application (app.kuno-ai.com) and the company portal (portal.kuno-ai.com), together the Services.

The Services are operated by Kuno SAS, 122 rue Amelot, 75011 Paris, France.

For any question about this Policy: dpo@kuno-ai.com.

2. What cookies and trackers are

A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. Other technologies (pixels, tags, local storage, software development kits) have equivalent effects.

This Policy covers all of them, referred to together as trackers.

Placing and reading trackers on your device is governed by Art. 82 of the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978. Any subsequent processing of the data collected is governed by the GDPR, as described in our [Privacy Policy].

Two regimes apply, depending on the tracker:

Strictly necessary trackers are those without which the Services cannot deliver a feature you have expressly requested: logging in, keeping your session open, security, and remembering your tracker preferences. These do not require your consent and cannot be switched off.

All other trackers require your prior consent. This includes analytics and any third-party integration. None of them is placed before you have made a choice, and refusing has no effect on your use of the Services.

3. Trackers we use

These trackers are strictly necessary to operate the Services and to provide the features you request. They cannot be switched off, and blocking them may prevent login or access to core features.

5. Your choices

On the learner application and the company portal, a banner lets you accept or refuse non-necessary trackers. Refusing is as straightforward as accepting and has no effect on your access to the Services.

Until you have made a choice, no non-necessary tracker is placed.

You can change your choice at any time by clicking [Manage my cookies] in the footer of any page. We keep a record of your choice for six months, after which the banner is shown to you again.

Because the website, the application and the portal are on separate domains, a choice made on one does not carry over to the others.

6. Browser settings

You can also configure your browser to refuse cookies. This applies to every site you visit and may affect how they work. The steps vary by browser: see its documentation, or the guidance published by the CNIL.

7. Transfers outside the European Union

Some tracker publishers are established outside the European Union. The providers concerned, where they process data and the safeguards that apply are set out in our Privacy Policy.

8. Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection in respect of data collected through these trackers, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. How to exercise them is set out in our Privacy Policy.

You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our lead supervisory authority is the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

9. Changes to this Policy

We may amend this Policy, in particular where a tracker is added or removed. The amended version is published on this page with an updated date. Where an amendment concerns a tracker requiring consent, we obtain your consent before it is placed.
