In short
Kuno uses AI to help you learn with peers. Two features work directly on information about you: your learning profile and peer matching. Everything else (programme drafts, translations, knowledge retrieval) works on your organisation's content, not on you.
This notice tells you what these systems do with your information, who can see the results, what a person decides, and what you can do if you disagree. It complements our Privacy Policy.
We do not use AI to infer your emotional state from audio, video, facial expressions or tone of voice, and we carry out no biometric recognition or categorisation. Indicators such as motivation or confidence come only from your questionnaire answers.
Your learning profile
What goes in. Your answers to the assessment questionnaire, the trait scores derived from them, your profile information (skills, goals, experience), and where you have consented to recording, content from your sessions.
What is assessed. Four dimensions from the questionnaire: how you manage your own work, how you adapt and stay motivated, how you assert yourself, and how you work with others. Alongside these, five learning-style indicators: your relationship to novelty, to structure, to achievement, to working with others, and to discipline.
These describe how you learn and work. They are not clinical or medical assessments, and they do not measure health, wellbeing or emotional state.
What comes out. A written narrative describing your learning style and suggested areas of focus, plus a compatibility score used to suggest peers.
What it changes for you. Your profile shapes the content suggested to you and the peers you are matched with. It does not determine your access to a programme, your eligibility, or any decision about your work.
Who can see it. You can always see your own learning profile. Your organisation's administrators can see who is in your cohort, your role, your progress through onboarding and the assessments, whether you have been matched and with whom, and aggregate dashboards. They also see AI-generated summaries of recent sessions and feedback. They cannot see your learning profile, your trait scores, your quiz answers, your session transcripts or your per-session debriefs. Other learners do not see your profile; they see only that you have been matched with you.
What a person decides. Your organisation decides which programme you are assigned to and who takes part. Sessions are always booked by people. No session is created automatically.
Peer matching works differently. The system compares your profile and assessment results with those of other learners and generates the list of peers you can book sessions with. That list is generated automatically, and you can currently only book sessions with peers on it. Your organisation's administrators can also create pairings themselves.
If you disagree with a pairing, or would like to work with someone who is not on your list, you can contact your organisation's administrator or write to us at privacy@kuno-ai.com. A person will review your request.
Peer matching
We compare your profile and assessment results with those of other learners to suggest pairings. This is an automated calculation, not a text-generating AI. Matches are suggestions: people book and run the sessions.
Session recording, transcripts and debriefs
If session recording is enabled, we transcribe the session and generate a written debrief and feedback.
This only happens if you agree. You will be asked before the session, and you can decline or change your mind at any time. If you decline, the session goes ahead as normal, you simply do not get the AI transcript, debrief or feedback. Where two participants take part and one declines, no recording takes place for that session.
Transcripts may contain sensitive personal information about your health, your circumstances or your workplace, because that is what people talk about. For that reason, recording is never automatic and always requires your agreement.
We do not use your data to train or fine-tune AI models. Inference is carried out through Amazon Bedrock, which under its contractual terms does not store your prompts or outputs, does not share them with model providers, and does not use them to train any model.
Where AI is used on your organisation's content, not on you
Programme drafts, learning pathways, programme diagnostics and knowledge retrieval work on information your organisation provides, objectives, uploaded documents, programme context. They produce material for administrators, who review and edit it. These features do not analyse you.
Translation and localisation convert content between languages. Where the content concerns you, this is done for your organisation.
How AI content is identified
Content produced or substantially assisted by AI is labelled as such in the product. Where you interact directly with an AI system, this is indicated to you.
What AI gets wrong
Your learning profile is a description based on how you answered a questionnaire on a particular day, not a definitive statement about who you are. It is a starting point for reflection, not a verdict. Treat outputs as assistance, not as professional, legal or medical advice.

See your profile and any AI-generated content about you
Understand how a result was reached, and the main factors behind it
Disagree tell us or your organisation why you think an output is wrong
Ask a person to review any AI output concerning you
Correct or delete the personal information behind it

Where AI runs
Within the European Union : our AI processing takes place on Amazon Bedrock in Paris and Frankfurt.
